XP SP2 Terminal Server Printing

This Microsoft fix allows your computer to print. It only needs to be run one time.
(Security settings in recent updates disable printing ports by default.)

  • You must be LOGGED OUT of the connection to do this.
  • Click to RDP Printer Script.
  • Please click “run” or “open”, which will open a DOS window.
  • Reboot your machine.

    This Microsoft fix allows your Vista computer to connect to Terminal Servers. It only needs to be run one time.
    (Security settings in Vista are not compatible. Disabled RDP ports by default.)

  • You must be LOGGED OUT of the connection to do this.
  • Click to Vista RDP Script
  • Please click “Save” to Desktop.
  • Right Click on the Batch file and click on Run as Administrator
  • Reboot your machine.

    Access log Files
                    Radio Button to (text box) type combined

    Write to
                    Radio Button to File the /var/log/httpd/nameof file.log

    VI httpd.conf (text version)

    LogFormat “\”%h %l %u %t \\”%r\\” %>s %b \\”%{Referer}i\\” \\”%{User-Agent}i\\”\” combined”

    Put this line in your httpd.conf file usually under /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf for Red Hat

    The SSL is tricking per mobile device.  Getting a Verisign SSL for more money may help with the cost of support calls/IT time.  Calls for other SSL Certs could cost more per phone.
